The app used to work well but it is no longer synching between family members which for us defeats the purpose. Have rebooted, deleted and downloaded and still cant rely on it to synch. Hope will be fixed and Im looking for a replacement.
I love this app so much. Mainly for the shared grocery list. Its so easy for my husband to be in the loop with what we need in the house. Anytime he is in a store or running errands he can easily check the list for anything that we need. So awesome!
Keeps me organized for shopping and during shopping with its easy-to-use interface and by sharing lists across devices and managing multiple lists. I like that it remembers my usual list items and sorts lists however I choose.
Easy to use. Works like a grocery app should. I can organize the items according to the aisles in the grocery store. Share-able too. Easy to add items to the list using Siri.
Ive tried many apps for making & live sharing of lists. None beat AnyList. My wife and I use AnyList with great ease to share a grocery list, packing lists, travel planning lists and gift wish lists for the kids. Its fantastic. AnyList has loads of great features, is regularly being updated and is backed by friendly, prompt support. You cant go wrong with this app.
Easy to use, flexible, intuitive and syncs quickly and accurately. I had been using another shopping app for years, but it had problems where it would lose the master list, which wasnt synched. I switched to AnyList and synching works perfectly. Very happy with this app.
AnyList is the best app in its class. I especially like the ability to take pictures of items. I highly recommend AnyList!
One of the top 3 essential apps in the store. Not only the best grocery list app in the store, but the best overall shopping list app in the store. Its so good that you may even find, depending on your needs, that its that best any-kind of list app, period. Of course it does what all the grocery apps do: comes with a catalog of typical grocery store items and an intelligent list of categories that reasonably approximates most supermarket aisles. Its easy to make a grocery list, and AnyList will sort it for you. You can also create custom categories and organize your categories however you want--say, in the order that the aisles are organized at your neighborhood supermarket. Check stuff off and its just hidden, so anything youve already added to your list, you can just unhide instead of retyping. But you can make any kind of list (hence the name). AnyList recognizes four kinds of lists: Grocery (categorized with autocomplete for items in the apps grocery catalog), Categorized (items organized--and thus sortable--within categories), Basic (no categories, but still sortable), and Custom. This makes it easy to use the app for shopping lists that are like a grocery list, but with different cateogries, like the drug store, hardware store, etc. Other kinds of categorized lists--like packing lists--are also easy. And basic lists--simple to-dos, and birthday lists for the kids--are even easier. Naturally, every list can be printed or shared via email or SMS. But each list can also be shared in _real time_ among a circle of participants, so that changes made by one person are immediately synced across all participants devices. I cross off "Bananas," and it gets hidden on my wifes list. True, reliable, real-time sharing, among any number of participants. And each list has its own sync circle, so that while my wife and I share a grocery list, my wife, my mother, and I share birthday wish lists for our sons (each son has his own list). Unlike any of its major competitors, AnyList also allows you to add a small note for each item, which is displayed beneath the item in smaller, fainter type. So although the basic list says "canned beans," you can add a note for your spouse to remind him that such-and-such brand is on sale, and he doesnt have to swipe or anything extra to see that note. This is an app that _expects_ lists to be shared. Everything is drop dead simple. If you think back, youll remember that this kind of functionality is one of the reasons that you bought an iDevice to begin with.
Good app but shared categories dont synchronizes:(
Thanks to developers, at last Ive found what I was looking for! There was a nice app earlier (Запокупками) but since developers started to play with it and made it worse - had to look for something else. Checked dozen of alternatives (really) and AnyList was the best of all. The most significant points for me: - simplicity (if compared with functional Grocery Gadjet - which is too overloaded in terms of interface); - list sharing; - extendable base of points (any new purchase will be stored for the future usage); - categorization; - customization (you could even translate an original categories); - push notifications; - iPhone/iPad versions. Im even decided to purchase their annual subscription in order to support developers and have the whole functionality! ☺ Expectations: - Russian interface.
Works great, and list sharing is awesome.
Helps my wife and I handle shopping at various stores
I was always writing lists and losing them before I needed them. Not any more! Not only is this app a lifesaver in the list department but I upgraded to the expanded version and now I can save all of my recipes in one place and import them from the Internet. I know it sounds like fluff but I cannot say enough how fabulous this app was around the holidays. Highly highly recommend it!
My wife and I use this and love the shared list functionality.
I love this app. My husband can add items to the list and they get updated. I use it for multiple types of lists.
One if the must have apps to a more organized family. Lists for multiple events or activities, we find forgetting things a non-factor now. Love how it updates real time as well. I could be shopping and my wife is adding things to the list and I see them. Cool stuff.
I love this app! My husband and I can keep up with the grocery list together, and that makes shopping a breeze! I also appreciate how it remembers items you have used before. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We love this app. My husband and I share grocery duty. Love how it organizes your list. Love how you can add recipes and it will add the ingredients for you!! Makes this working moms life easier!!!
We switched from groceryIQ to this because of stability issues. We love this app and highly recommend it!
