AnyList: Grocery Shopping List App Reviews

Love this app - my life seriously is soooo much more organized since finding AnyList!! Love that I can share lists with my husband and he can add things to the list as well from his iPhone. And the recipe section is awesome and well organized - I do all my meal planning, recipe searching, and shopping lists exclusively with AnyList now.

Cant get passed the sign in screen, so the app is literally useless.

Not only does this app help you find new recipes, store your recipes, create your meal plan, and EASILY create & track your grocery list but it ALSO helps keep you on track while in the store! And on top of all the features the app has, the guys are fantastic and get back to you quickly when / if you ever have questions! We even created a separate grocery list for vacations and another for Costco trips! Versatile and efficient!

This is an amazing list app. The ability to so easily import recipes from the web is worth the cost of the premium version alone. I havent used it long but these features already stand out: being able to move or copy items from one list to another; adding a photo to an item in your list; using Siri to add items to your list. I think this is well worth the money. Great app!!

I have to admit, Im a list person. Lists help me plan and prioritize what Im working on, what I need to do next weekend, what I need to get at the store -- anything! AnyList is just the ticket for helping me to manage all of these different list and since I always have my phone with me I can add or cross off items on any list at any time. I upgraded to AnyList Complete and like how I can add photos, apply different themes or colors and import recipes but there are still a lot of features I have not even begun to explore. If youre a list person like me then you will love this app.

Features, implementation, GUI, interactions, Siri/reminders integration, list sharing. All best Ive seen, and Ive tried a bunch. Well worth the cost.

Its ok, cant sync with another user, you can share but not sync

I hate this last update,why do developers screw up with what works. Show Hidden items has moved to a new menu, harder to find. Everything takes 2x longer to do. I will look for another list app...

So let me first off say that I have tried other "list" apps, especially for groceries. None of them even compare to this one. I like to have my list in the same order as I shop, and this app not only lets me customize the categories, but it automatically sorts where each item should go. AND, if for some reason I want it somewhere else on the list, I can move it no problem. But by far the best part of this app is the recipe feature. (I used the free version for about a day before I fell in love and had to upgrade so I could use this) Say you find a recipe you like. Not only can you save it to this app for reference later (and also organize the recipes into different catalogues I might add...) but it automatically imports the ingredients and you can just click which ones you want to add to your list, or all of them. You can easily share lists, customize the look/feel of it them, make different lists for different tasks/items, etc. Basically, this is the app you didnt know you wanted, but now you cant live without it.

Love this for the shopping list function and ability to pull recipes in from the web.

This app is life-changing. Well, at least has made my life much easier. I started out using it just is a grocery list, but now I use it to store all my recipes, meal plan, make road trip packing lists, gift idea lists at Christmas, todo lists for specific projects, etc... I use this app more than anything else on my phone. And my husband doesnt even mind going to the grocery store for me now because my list is organized aisle by aisle for my local grocery store and makes it easy for him to find stuff. Cannot say enough good things about this app! I tell everyone I know about it. They should pay me for all of the advertising I give them :)

I recently switch to AnyList from Grocery Gadget, which Id been using for years. I wish Id switched sooner! Its a really well put together app. They made it so easy to add images to list items, which is huge for us. If my husband stops at the store for me he doesnt have to guess which brand, variety, etc. I also like that we can select which lists to share rather than having it be all or nothing. The app is endlessly customizable - change the color scheme, font, what info is/isnt displayed, filter by store, etc. If only it had a bar code scanner for adding items it would be perfect!

Use this app all the time now to store my recipes. Allow importing recipes from most URLs and if not imported, can copy/paste in the ingredients and directions. When copied into recipe ingredients now display in format allowing easy addition to grocery list. Ive added the numbered grocery store aisles as categories and we now zip very easily through the store! Love it!!

We love this app! If I dont write something down when I first think of it, I will forget it. Having this on my phone enables me to do this every time. Because I share the lists with my husband, he is able to see all and can pick them up on the way home from work. Works great!

This app is amazing! I purchased it before even really trying it and I am definitely NOT disappointed. If you use AllRecipes.com, you can download a browser extension to send a recipe from the AllRecipes site directly into your recipes in AnyList. I use the AnyList website to plan my meals and make my shopping lists. (Use AnyList on my phone for the actual shopping or adding additional items.) Although I am hoping they streamline a few functions on the site, it only takes about 5 minutes to go from your recipes -> to your meal plan for the week -> to the actual list. No manual syncing required. All the info is pushed to the app on your phone automatically. Nicely done gentleman!

Everything I wanted in a grocery app: a favorites list (so I dont have to reenter items I frequently use), a filter (to filter by store), customizable categories, show or hide completed items, and much more. Use it online and sync to your iphone or vice versa. Easy to use! It was well worth purchasing the yearly subscription.

Our family has been using Anylist for years now. We would be lost without it. It is so easy to use and it has so many different features. This is not just a bare bones list maker. I really appreciate how you have updated the app regularly. You keep adding cool stuff. It was easy to choose the upgrade. I love the adding of photos to the items. My husband shops so I can be very clear with the photos in describing each item. No more frustrating episodes of buying what he thought that I wanted. Thank you and keep up the skilled work that you do. Oh, I also appreciate how you listen to our suggestions. It really is amazing.

By far my most used app. I use it to track tasks, a shopping list/meal plan with my wife, and even home renovation projects. Its a very well designed app - kudos to the devs! I also find the pricing model to be fair and affordable. I look forward to future due dates and alarms!
